Dear Friends and Neighbours in Pine Meadows
“Remember when you were little and all your underwear had the days of the week on them. Those would be helpful about now.”
“It may take a village to raise a child, but I swear it’s going to take a whole vineyard to homeschool one.”
How are you doing. Pretty boring for sure. Now’s the time to try and communicate with each other as much as possible. Have a phone conversation and share some laughs. I know phone calls aren’t the same as face to face but it is a way to socialize with one another.
I have had some questions regarding whether cleaning personnel are allowed to enter your home during this stay-at-home stage. The quick answer is, yes cleaning people may continue to clean your home. Just ensure that you and your cleaning people continue to remember the actions we must take to keep each other safe. Wear masks, stay in a separate room from the cleaning person thereby keeping a safe distance and wash or sanitize your hands often. It would probably be a good idea to have your cleaning people use only cleaning tools and products which are in your home already.
Dana Burdenuk would like me to pass along to you that the office is still pretty much closed. All office staff are working from home as much as possible. Dana will be in the office on Mondays and Fridays. She wanted to ensure everyone that even when she is at home, she is available through emails and phone messages to respond to your questions and concerns.
I have also had questions regarding the webinar on January 26th regarding a product which will assist people who need assistance to remain in their own home. If you have no access to email and would like more information regarding this product, Susanne Wilmot has suggested that you call her at
519-787-4627.
With Valentines Day approaching, the Board thought it might be fun for all residents to send a Valentines Day Card to another resident anonymously. Here’s how it will work. Drop a signed but unaddressed Valentines Card into the Valentines Card collection box which will be situated on a table in the Grand Hall. On February 13th, Board members will empty the box and put the cards into random mail slots located in the Grand Hall. On Valentines day, everyone will have a card from another resident to open. It may be a card from someone you do or don’t know. Either way, our community will join together in wishing each other Happy Valentines Day!
Please stay safe and healthy everyone.
